THE FLY OPERATES THE INTERFACE
The specimen illustration is not a mascot floating beside a dashboard. Its compound eye receives the field; a visible head probe feeds a deliberately reduced browser model; named motor-like outputs move the sampler and commit the queue.
Audio energy is arranged as time × frequency cells in front of the compound eye.
Twenty-four leaky integrate-and-fire units respond to sampled cell intensity.
DNa02 steers frequency; DNa01 advances time; MDN steps the eye backward.
A DNp09-like burst selects the closest remaining field and writes it locally.

This interface does not run a whole fly brain. Published 2026 FlyEM counts—165,122 neurons and roughly 10.2M connections—are context, not runtime claims.
The selection rule is authored by people. The fly has no goal, taste, language, wallet, or claim to biological fidelity.
No contract, signature, mint, reward, or transaction occurs. You only meet that boundary after completing the local interaction.
